READY TO ESCAPE THE NORTHERN EUROPEAN WEATHER?
It's a great time to visit Southern Spain - admittedly it's not super hot yet, but it's close to perfect cycling weather - a bit cooler, not too windy and still quiet!

LONG OVERDUE UPDATE
Okay, So we've been super busy since moving to Spain - building and fitting out the cabins, some soft and hard landscaping, discovering routes and even learning Spanish, but if you've found this page then you'll also have seen that we have a new website - with links to all of our social media accounts where we are (a little) better at keeping them up to date.
HOUSE PURCHASE STILL ON TARGET
Amazingly, despite the lockdown still in place in Spain, we received notification from the Spanish Lawyer that the house purchase is still on target for completion this Today! It's going to feel really strange to be the owner of a property overseas that we can't (and don't expect to for a while) get to. We're hopeful that the easing that we are seeing in Spain will continue and that France will follow shortly (we need to drive through France to get to Spain). We're avidly watching the news for update is the UK and hope to be able to make the move in about a month or two, but the important thing is for everyone to keep safe no matter where in the world you are. EVERYTHING ON HOLD DUE TO COVID-19
Of course the current Pandemic has thrown all of the plans in to turmoil and put everything on hold - the most important thing for everyone at the moment is to stay safe and to stay at home. Please subscribe for future updates
CONTRACTS SIGNED, SHEPHERD'S HUTS ORDERED, LHD VEHICLE BROUGHT
The anticipation of the move the Uliela Del Campo is building - we've signed the contracts on the house, granted Power of Attorney to our Spanish Lawyer, Raquel, to get us our residency and proceed with the sale. We've also ordered to Shepherd's Huts/Gypsy Caravans from Tuin's importer in Spain, HobyCasa, which will be delivered once we get there.
Our next biggest purchase has been the left hand drive vehicle as, believe it or not, it's cheaper to buy these in the UK. After a lot of searching, we've settled on a used Renault Traffic Passenger (a 9 seater Minibus) - and we just had to change the stereo system from the standard head unit (it was dire) to something more suitable for the 1200 mile journey to Spain and to build some storage in to the back - more on these changes (and the 'Bus later)
NEW YEAR - NEW US!
Our long anticipated New Year's Day dinner of marinated Aylesbury duck convinced me - I'm giving Vegetarianism a go and Claire's going to be more of a flexitarian (I think it's just because she has to be difficult!) - Will this affect the food offerings to our guests? Absolutely not - whilst we have our preferences our aim is only to provide great quality, healthy food at all times.
